He added in a speech today, Tuesday, that the destruction in the region hinders rescue operations, pointing to the establishment of 54,000 shelter sites in the earthquake zones.

He also announced the allocation of more than $5 billion for rescue operations, stressing that various security and military forces are participating in rescue operations.
